Charles A. Pinney, III

Cap's own history is as diverse as his clients. He is a graduate from the United States Naval Academy, has a Master of Science Degree in aeronautical engineering, flew fighter jets in the U.S. Marine Corps, served as a test pilot at the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, CA, and then flew for American Airlines, all while obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from Western State University.

Cap is a mainstay of the San Diego and Del Mar communities. In addition to his career of service as a U.S. Marine, he continues to give back to our community in the same selfless manner. He serves the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito, the San Diego Air & Space Museum, and the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation. Cap currently sits on committees which evaluate and award scholarships to high school seniors and is actively involved with the Community Emergency Response Team of Del Mar.

Cap is a long time resident of Del Mar, is married to a renowned realtor, has three grown children and one spectacular granddaughter.

Douglas R. Cullins is a founding partner of Pinney Cullins, LLP. His practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, probate administration, and business entity development. Doug is a retired U.S. Marine officer and licensed California Attorney. As a Marine, he was decorated for valor on the battlefield and received the Purple Heart medal. He is a proven leader both in and out of combat, where he held numerous command and instructor billets throughout his career. Doug has been personally recognized for his leadership and advancement of wounded warrior care initiatives by Members of the U.S. Congress, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.

Doug is a San Diego native and currently lives in Carlsbad with his wife and two sons.
